Air separation is done in both methods by eliminating oxygen and other effluent gases from the air.

MVS’s PSA Nitrogen generator plants can produce Nitrogen with a purity of up to 99.9995 percent, whereas membrane technology Nitrogen systems can provide purity of 90 to 99.9%. PSA Nitrogen Generator with Deoxo Unit is also available, with a purity of 99.9997 percent.
